Our philosophy aims to create an environmentally friendly place. The Lecco Hostel is designed to limit waste and promote a more sustainable attitude inside and outside the facility.

For responsible travelers, the Lecco Hostel is the ideal choice for both sustainable consumption choices and to be a promoter of a healthy, eco-friendly lifestyle.

GREEN FEATURES OF THE FACILITY

  • All electricity comes from photovoltaic solar panels, so both air conditioning and thermal heating are carbon neutral
  • Toilet paper is derived from recycled paper and is biodegradable
  • Detergents and cleaning products are completely biodegradable
  • We practice separate collection for waste recycling
  • Windows are double-glazed to save energy

GREEN MOBILITY

In reference to mobility, our services promote the use of bike sharing and bike tourism. Within the Lecco Hostel, our guests have spaces dedicated to maintain and clean their bikes.

A green refueling station for electric bikes powered by solar panels distributes energy to those staying at our hostel.

BIKE HOSTEL

If cycling is your passion, Lecco is the ideal place to give it a vent. This is where bike paths suitable for the more and less experienced, for every level of training and for every type of bike start and take shape.
